Congratulations to the kākāpō

The kākāpō is a very unusual, nocturnal, flightless parrot – it’s one of a kind! These critically endangered “moss chickens” used to live throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, but today there are only about 200 individuals left. The kākāpō really needs your help to be around for future Bird of the Year competitions.

Will you help save New Zealand’s unique birds?

Make sure we keep the kākāpō, and all of our endangered native birds by giving a donation today! Every dollar you donate will be used to protect our amazing wildlife found nowhere else in the world.
